A hopsice volunteer offers compaionship, support, and a helping hand. No matter who you are, you have something to offer hospice patients. You can make a profound difference in a person's life bye helping a patient write letters, reading a book, lending a listening ear ,playing music, or helping with light activities. Volunteers play an integral role in Beacon Hopsice's team approach to care that focuses on comfort, dignity and peace for the patient and their family. Volunteers will complete a comprehensive training program and receive on-going support. We offer group training classes or one on one training sessions.
