Giant Steps is looking for Board Members to serve 3 year terms. We are looking for people that have an interest in the disability community and autism more particularly. The Board meets quarterly and is responsible for oversight of the school and the Director. Board members are expected to attend meetings, serve on committees and support the school's mission with support of its events, access to resources and financial committment where possible.

Giant Steps is a therapeutic school dedicated to children with autism spectrum disorders. Our programs develop academinc, social and vocational skills to maximize each student's individual potential.
Description
Giant Steps is an individualized program working with children and young adults on the autism spectrum. Giant Steps are referred students from school districts in Illinois and St. Louis pursuant to the students Individual Educational Plan (IEP). Students range from 3-21 with a goal of allowing the child to be in a home school or work environment.
