Volunteers will assist with event set-up/ take down, event organization, serving food, cleaning up, etc.
Volunteers may be needed before the event, during the event, and after the event.
Volunteer groups of 5 or more are preferred.
In honor of Special Olympics Louisiana and other not-for-profit organizations in the Hammond, LA area:

Seventeenth Annual Steak Dinner & Benefit Raffle
Tickets are on sale now for $100.00 donation which include two (2) steak dinners; two (2) chances to win a $5,000.00 drawing and two (2) chances to win a $500.00 drawing. (Winners need not be present to win.)
Social Hour begins at 5:00 pm (Appetizers will be served)
Dinner begins at 6:30 pm
Take Out begins at 5:00 pm
There will also be a silent and live action to follow.

Special Olympics is an international organization that changes lives by promoting understanding, acceptance, and inclusion between people with and without intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics is the world's largest public health organization serving people with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Louisiana offers over 100 sporting events and training camps to accommodate the wide range of athletic interests demonstrated by its athletes. Athletes are divided to compete against others of similar gender, age, and ability. Special Olympics Louisiana does not charge a fee to athletes (or their families) to train or compete.
