Haircut

BJC Hospice is seeking licensed hair dressers or barbers to cut and style hair for terminally ill patients. Often hospice patients are too sick to leave home, and getting a haircut for the first time in a long time can help them feel wonderful. You can visit patients in residences or nursing homes in the community. You will be able to visits patients on days and at times convenient for you (the time commitment would be about 2 to 5 hours a month).

Your services will be provided to patients at no charge. You must have a valid license and will need to provide two professional references. You will need to attend a short volunteer orientation. All BJC HealthCare volunteers must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19.
