8 Shelving units (not too heavy - they seperate into pieces) were donated to our organization. We need 4-5 people with pick-up trucks or one box truck to drive up the the University are on a Saturday. Load the shelves into the trucks, drive to uptown Charlotte, and unload the shelving units. One or two volunteers with construction or similar license who can lead putting the shelves back together and secure the shelves to the walls would be so helpful!
Requirements: Able to lift 30lbs. Able to push, pull, and walk while carrying 30 lbs. Valid Driver's License.
If providing a vehicle. The vehicle must be registered in your name. Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Registration. Valid Car Insurance and Health Insurance. Clean Driving Record.

Care Ring offers the following comprehensive program and services:
Physicans Reach Out program: In partnership with the Mecklenburg County Medical Society and the Charlotte Dental Society, 1600 volunteer physicians, dentists and allied health providers provide free or low-cost healthcare for low-income indivduals who do not qualify for Medicaid and do not have access to private health insurance.
The Care Ring Low-Cost Clinic in uptown Charlotte is a solution for the uninsured who can afford modest office visit fees. Low-cost lab work is conducted on site. The clinic is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm for non-emergency appointments.
Nurse-Family Partnership is a national model, evidenced-based nurse home-visiting program that improves the health and well-being of first-time, low-income mothers and their children.
