Assist Purchasing staff with various procurement-related projects, including the creation of purchasing activity reports and bid activities. Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for selected and assigned vendors. Interact with different groups within ABCD to complete assignments. Assist with the departments’ administrative tasks, such as filing and record-keeping, issuing taxi vouchers and report generation. Contact departments regarding delayed receiving copies in order to process outstanding invoices. Perform other related duties as required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Previous purchasing experience preferred. Strong database management skills and clerical accuracy. Must have customer service mindset. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds. Available from June - September 2015, three times a week, Wednesday through Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
