The American Kidney Fund is seeking Nurses, Nursing Assistance, Nursing Students, MAs or MA students in the Birmingham, AL area to Administer Blood Pressures at the Southern Women's Show- in Birmingham, AL Thursday, October 8- Sunday, October 11. The American Kidney Fund (AKF) and volunteers will be screening attendees for Blood Pressures and educating the public on risk factors for Kidney Disease. Volunteering with AKF for this event will give you experience in working in a public setting. Volunteers who offer their services for more than 5 hours per day would be provided lunch. Additionally, this is a great opportunity for students who would like to receive credit for volunteerism.
