Student Matinee Series Volunteers are responsible for assisting students before, during and following performances with ticketing and seating.
This opportunity requires a full season commitment, from September 2015 to May 2016; and must attend an orientation. Minimum committment is 1 performance per production, 7 afternoons per year, from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM on Wednesday Afternoons.

All volunteer positions include the opportunity to watch PTC performances while volunteering! Upcoming performances include The Last Ship, The Glass Menagerie, Oliver!, and The Will Rogers Follies.

Volunteers should be comfortable interacting with students 6th-12th grade. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

Description

Pioneer Theatre Company is Utah's professional regional theatre in residence at the University of Utah. Pioneer Theatre Company produces a seven production season running from September through May, including a mixture of classics, large scale musicals and contemporary dramas and comedies.

The 2015/16 season includes: Fiddler on the Roof, Outside Mullingar, It Happened One Christmas, Two Dollar Bill, An Inspector Calls, Cowgirls, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Rocky Horror Show--Concert Version and three new play readings in early 2016.
