Come join us in helping at this very fun event. Jingle Bell Run/Walk (JBR) in Tucson, AZ will be on December 7, 2019, at Reid Park. JBR helps support the Arthritis Foundation in Arizona that helps adults and children with arthritis. The volunteer positions are:
Early Registration /Packet Pick-Up - Thursday, December 5th 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (6-8 volunteers)
Early Registration / Packet Pick-Up - Friday, December 6th from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (6-8 volunteers)
Afternoon/evening set up on Friday, December 6th from 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (20 volunteers)
Early Morning set up on December 7th from 6:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. (20 volunteers)
Vendor/Festival Area from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (6-10 volunteers)
- Help vendors set up and tear down their area, provide water bottles to vendor area
- Give each vendor passport stamps
- Refreshment Table
- Advocacy sign ups
Registration - December 1st from 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. (15 volunteers)
Volunteer Check In - December 1st from 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (2-4 volunteers)
Course monitors - December 1st from 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (16 volunteers)
- Directional - make sure participants are following the correct course
- Water station

Kid Village - December 1st from 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (2-3 volunteers)
- Santa Claus
- Mrs. Claus
VIP Tent Area - December 1st from 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (4 volunteers)
Team Tailgate - December 1st from 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (3-5 volunteers)
Photographers - December 1st from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (5 volunteers)
- Santa photographer
- Festival area photographer
- Course, Start/Finish Line photographer(s)
Start/Finish Line - December 1st from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (10-15 volunteers)
- Cheerleaders cheering on participants at the beginning and end of race
- Finisher Medals - hand out participant medals to everyone crossing the finish line
Clean Up - December 1st from 10:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (20 volunteers)
- Clean up festival area, tear down tables, stage area, VIP area and take down signs and banners
We will do our best to accommodate volunteer groups.
