Board Fundraising Chair

  1. raising awareness of the charity and its work at local and national levels, e.g. by giving talks to groups or seeking photo opportunities with the media;
  2. motivating and facilitating supporters to maximize the funds they raise;
  3. inspiring new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters;
  4. organizing traditional activities, such as sponsored outdoor events and house-to-house collections of donated goods and money;
  5. developing new and imaginative fundraising activities, many of which involve organizing events;
  6. developing and coordinating web-based fundraising, online auctions and merchandise sales;
  7. developing and implementing a strategy for individual and corporate supporter recruitment and development;

We assert the need for one-on-one service to help families gain quality assistance, flexible service, and acknowledge of the right of children with disabilities to be an integral part of their community.

Description

We promote and cultivate the ultimate long-term success of our families through empowerment to advocacy, which is the driving force in our organization. All of our services are provided free of charge to infants, toddlers, youth, young adults with all disabilities from birth to age 26.
