Summer Camp Dance Instructors Needed!

EducationWorks is looking for volunteers to share their joy of dance with our campers this summer! Our students are most interested in Hip-Hop and Latin dance but if you are an expert in another dance style please still get in touch with us and we can talk more about what you would like to teach.
Volunteers are expected to be available at least 1 hour, 1 day per week for the 6 week camp program which begins July 6th and ends August 14th. Camp hours are 8:00-5:30 each day so volunteers could need to be available for at least 1 hour within that time frame. Additional days/hours per week would be ideal.
Volunteers are required to get clearances before working with youth. Education works will help with this process. Clearances include: FBI Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and State Criminal Background Check.
Experience working with youth is required, experience with urban/underserved youth preferred.

We recognize that each child, school or community has unique needs. That's why we work directly with community and school leaders to uncover current and emerging needs and create customized programs that will have the greatest impact. From in-school programs to after-school and summer programs and beyond, we work with children as young as 6 weeks all the way through to adulthood.
