The Hickory Creek Preserve/Barrens Access volunteer opportunity is co-hosted by National Public Lands Day and National Enviornmental Education Foundation, invites you to help beautify the Forest Preserve District by collecting native grass seed or cuting non-native brush near trails. Tools, gloves and drinking water are provided. Meet at the northeast corner of Route 30 and Schoolhouse Rd.
