Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care is in need of compassionate volunteers, in the Baltimore area and surrounding communities, to provide companionship visits to patients living in their homes or in nursing facilities near you.

• No medical or personal care required.
• Flexible schedule, based on your availability, with visit assignments located close to your home.
• Comprehensive training and screenings, provided at no cost to volunteer.

Examples of ways to provide companionship to patients...

• Conversation or providing a quiet presence
• Reading aloud to the patient
• Listening to music with the patient
• Looking at photos with the patient
• Helping the patient with journaling "writing their story"
• Sitting with the patient, providing respite for family caregivers to have free time
• Watching movies, TV, playing board or card games
