Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. You engage people in your communities and inspire them to join our mission to eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors. Ride for Kids is now seeking enthusiastic and dedicated people who want to help us cure the kids. There are many ways to volunteer for a Ride for Kids event, from leading a task force and recruiting riders to greeting arriving motorcycles and everything in between. A Ride for Kids task force is a volunteer committee that partners with the PBTF staff to plan, prepare for and conduct a Ride for Kids event.

Duties include helping to select the event date and location (a loop ride of about 1 to 1.5 hours is preferable); helping to arrange for a police escort and other event-day logistics. Because they live in event communities, task force members are especially valuable partners in helping to recruit riders, identify media partners and secure cash sponsors.

If you are interested in helping witih this fun motorcycle event, please contact Brittaney at BShade@curethekids.org for more information. This years race is on September 13th and the Task Force will be meeting one a month until the race!
