ACT offers 3 species each of large shade and small understory trees. This program seeks to encourage biodiversity through a varied tree palate, and stresses the importance of planting the right tree in the right place.
This year we wil be in the Heritage Hills/Windsor Hills neighborhood.
Volunteers will meet at Austin Chinese Church at 8 am.
Sector Leaders will coordinate with volunteers to cover their section of the neighborhood. Sector Leaders/Volunteers will then walk through their assigned area and place tree flags for properties that are participating.
Volunteers should bring work gloves, hats, sunscreen, & water. Refreshments will be available at Austin Chinese Church once volunteers have finished.
