Run for Diversity 2015

The Oak Park Regional Housing Center is seeking volunteers to help with our inaugural "Run for Diversity" 5- and 10-K race through the beautiful streets and neighborhoods of Oak Park. Funds from this event will go to support our work in preserving the diversity of Oak Park through our fair and affordable housing work.

Opportunities the day of the race include:

- Monitoring race route corners;

- Assisting with registration, start and finish line activities;

- Staffing water stops along the route;

Your volunteer opportunity will complete by early morning that day so you will still be free to explore the sites of our delightful community!

The Housing Center provides direct services in Oak Park and surrounding communities in Chicago and western Cook County that encourage diversity and integration in the housing market. The Housing Center also plays a lead role in advocacy efforts on housing and civil rights from the local to the federal level.
