2015 Ovarian Cancer National Conference Volunteer Opportunities

Washington, DC Volunteer Opportunity Description

Opportunities available Wednesday July 15th and Thursday July 16th in Washington, DC!

This July, the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance will host the 18th Ovarian Cancer National Conference at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, CA on July 24-26, 2015. The Conference brings together more than 400 patients, caregivers, researchers and advocates to hear about the latest innovations in ovarian cancer, find hope and inspiration, and support ovarian cancer initiatives.

Help us make the conference possible by volunteering with us here in DC this July and have the chance to support our amazing survivors and caregivers as they come together as a community in San Diego!

Here are the ways you can help us prepare for the 18 th Annual Ovarian Cancer National Conference:

Pre-Conference

Assist staff in the OCNA office (located at 1101 14th Street NW) by assembling name badges, stuffing folders, and packing supplies. This will take place in the week leading up to the conference (July 13th - July 17th). Snacks and music provided!

Share our Volunteer information with your Friends on the West Coast!

Have friends who love to volunteer? Do they live in California? We are still looking for volunteers to assist on the ground during the Conference on July 24-26th. Please share the application link and our contact info so they too can join in on the fun!
