July 4 th Parking Attendant
Holmes Reservation, Plymouth, MA
Overview:
The Trustees of Reservations is in need of enthusiastic volunteers to assist visitors safely park at the Holmes Reservation in Plymouth, MA on July 4 th, 2015 between 5:00-8:30 p.m. during the Plymouth Fireworks. Come lend a hand in this unique location and stay to enjoy the fireworks.
Responsibilities:
- Direct cars into suitable parking areas
- Assist with traffic control after the event
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18
- Have reliable transportation to Holmes Reservation
- Outgoing and ability to work with the public
- Courteous and positive attitude
Physical Demands of the Position:
This position requires that the volunteer be able to:
- Stand and walk on uneven surfaces such as unpaved road and grass
Training & Support:
The volunteer reports to Trustees staff member, who will:
- Orient the volunteer to the property
- Explain the Trustees mission and commitment to the community
