37th Annual Cohn Weil Memorial MS Golf Outing (July 6th)

ORGANIZATION: National MS Society, Greater Illinois

Join us as a volunteer at this annual golf outing to honor the Cohn and Weil families who have been impacted by MS. For the past 37 years, committee chair, Joe Weil, and a group of dedicated committee members have organized a fun and special event at a prestigious Highland Park golf course. This year the event will be on Monday, July 6 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of roles from registration, course game helpers, greeters, and silent auction set-up/tear down. Volunteers will be provided meals, T-shirt and a chance to attend the evening party.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.

Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. In Greater Illinois we have many different opportunities throughout the year in which you can volunteer such as:

The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
