PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Provides 24 hour emergency communications and casework services, including access to financial assistance, to members of the US Military, their families and to other eligible Red Cross Clients.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Minimum 4 hours per week, flexible with a scheduled commitment
* Orientation to the American Red Cross
* Specific SAF on-line casework and case management system training
* Specific SAF classroom training regarding practices, policies and procedures
* SAF Basic Training Webinars -SAF Overview; Military 101; Family Follow-Up
* Willingness to gain knowledge of Military Culture, Diversity, Sensitivity and Awareness (eLearning) and how to access community resources
