2015 Long Beach Grand Cru Competition
Volunteers needed for the 2015 Long Beach Grand Cru Competition, benefiting Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.

Each year, over one hundred people volunteer hundreds of hours to produce the events that make up the Long Beach Grand Cru: the International Wine Competition where over 1000 wines are judged and awarded medals, raises money in a celebratory atmosphere.

Funds raised benefit the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) and it’s Greater Long Beach Medical Legal Partnership with the Children’s Clinic.

Your volunteer experience will expose you to new friends and wines of the world, and will raise funds for an essential community cause.

The Long Beach International Wine Competition is held over two days. During these two days, over 1,200 wines will be judged by a professional panel and awarded medals. This volunteer opportunity offers you a rare look into the wine world, and is both fascinating and educational. Volunteers must be available on both days, and duties may include lifting, carrying, and walking with trays of wine.

Please let us know if you have any physical limitations in the comments section or by emailing gcvolunteer@lafla.org.
