Come learn how to give guided tours of Riordan Mansion! Volunteers tell the story of the Riordan family, Flagstaff, and the architecture of the 1904 style duplex. Volunteers are given the opportunity to engage with visitors through interpretation and promote a deep appreciation towards local history. Description
The Riordan Mansion is a beautiful Arts & Crafts style duplex built in 1904 for two of the Riordan brothers and their families. As leading Flagstaff citizens they were able build a grand house with all the available modern convienences. The homes and much of the original furniture were donated to Arizona State Parks which makes for a wonderful visitor experience of stepping back in time.
