The Helpers Organization, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The Helpers Organization an Award Winning non-profit organization located in Norfolk, Virginia that partners with local community groups in order to assist individuals and families in the Hampton Roads area. The mission of The Helpers Organization is to provide assistance to low-income families in Hampton Roads communities by addressing the pressing developmental needs of affordable housing, economic development, and neighborhood revitalization. We offer free referral services, as well as financial aid on a case by case basis. Our volunteers help us run the organization on a daily basis. If you have a 4 year degree or a local business owner with ties to the community in the greater Hampton Roads area, please feel free to e-mail your resume or intentions to our Founder, President/CEO, & Chairman, Mr. Antwan Staton. Seeking: Human Services Chair, Development Chair, 3 Members at Large, Board Secretary
Candidates Should Possess:
4-8 year degree
Leadership & Management
Over 10 years in the Executive field
Ties to the community (Local Business Owners or Former Executives)
Marketing techniques, able to interact with the other executives within the spectrum of the non-profit & business sector
A 100% desire to help the community
