Wanna hang with the cool kids? A volunteer is needed to assist with the Vision House afternoon Community Center on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:30-6pm in Renton, WA. Even if you can only help one of those days per week it would be helpful!
Volunteers will participate in activity time with children and youth. Activities vary each week but may include crafts, outside play, board games, or video games.
Vision House is a Christian social service agency based near Seattle, Washington. Since 1990, Vision House has provided housing, support services and child care for homeless families with children and separately to homeless men recovering from substance abuse.
*Vision House requires a background check for anyone volunteering with our residents, but I would be happy to send you the needed forms to sign. For more information, please visit www.NoHomelessKids.org

Description
VH is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit Christian agency that provides confidential temporary housing for homeless families and their children, and separately for homeless single men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. The primary goal of VH is to provide residents with a stable, safe living environment. VH provides case management to enable residents to become self-sufficient by accessing community resources and by pursuing further education, training, or employment opportunities.
