The 27th Annual Pittsburgh Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy is a 5k run/2 mile walk around the North Shore of Pittsburgh. The event raises funds and awareness for children, families and adults affected by epilepsy and seizure disorders.

Team Captain Registration - Registering team captains

Individual Registration - Registering pre-registered individuals

Day of Event Registration - Registering participants the day of the event

Prize Distribution - Distributing fund raising incentives to participants

Parking Attendant - Directing traffic to appropriate parking lot, redeem parking tickets

Information Volunteer - Directing people to appropriate places and providing general information

Race Course Volunteer - Provide direction for runners/walkers and hand out water at stations

Tailgate Party Volunteer - Help prepare and distribute food

The Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA (EAWCP) endeavors to improve the quality of life for persons with epilepsy/seizure disorders and to dispel the myths, stigmas and misunderstandings associated with epilepsy.

Description

The Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA (EAWCP) is dedicated to to providing information, education, advocacy, programs and support services for people living with epilepsy and their families, friends and colleagues. These programs include weekend and summer camps, emergency medication assistance, educational conferences and workshops, CareShare respite program, seizure response dogs, college scholarships, and seizure recognition and first aid training for students, teachers, and school nurses. Events like this help the EAWCP continue to provide these crucial programs and services.
