At ViaQuest Hospice, we are building a team of compassionate people who would be willing to volunteer their skills for the benefit of our patients and their families. Volunteers provide a smiling face, a hand to hold, and a sharing of love and compassion.
Currently, a patient suffering a terminal illness is asking for someone to visit, chat with her and read the Bible to her.
No special skills or education are required, only a generosity of heart and the following: Submitting an application, including references; Successfully passing background checks (cost covered by ViaQuest); Completing a tuberculosis screening (cost covered by ViaQuest); Completing an orientation session, scheduled at your convenience.
