Look Good Feel Better is a free 2 hour workshop to help women who are in active cancer treatment cope with the appearance related side effects of treatment. Sessions focus on skin changes, drawing on eye brows, nail and hair care, and learning about wigs and scarves. The American Cancer Society trains volunteer licensed cosmetologists and estheticians to teach Look Good Feel Better workshops at local hospitals and cancer centers. There is a 4.5 hour certification class you will need to attend to be certified to volunteer for the program
