Do you have a hobby or field that you're passionate about? Would you like to share your passion with folks who are eager to learn? We have the opportunity for you! Contact Krista Sarraf, Educational Programs Coordinator, at ksarraf@bethlen.com.

Volunteer to teach a class or present a lecture with Graceful Aging Wellness Center, a unique facility at Bethlen Communities that offers patrons age 50+ an opportunity to gather and focus on improving all aspects of their health. Volunteer teachers include college/doctoral/high school students, current teachers and professors, experts in field, working professionals, and passionate hobbyists. We even provide teaching training so that you feel confident in the classroom!

If you are interested, please contact Educational Programs Coordinator Krista Sarraf at ksarraf@bethlen.com. Ask for a volunteer teaching application. Please indicate whether you are interested in teaching a one-time class/lecture or in teaching a continuing series (continuing series can meet two or more times).

Classes should fall within the Seven Dimensions of Wellness: physical, social, spiritual, intellectual, vocational, emotional, and environmental. Classes range in topic from computer skills, to language competency, to horticulture, to history, to financial planning, etc. If you're not sure if your course idea would fit at Graceful Aging, do not hesitate to ask! We are open to topics that'll enrich the lives of our members.

As a GAWC volunteer instructor, you will enrich people’s lives by sharing your knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for a topic of your choice.
