Our dragon boat team has paddlers who are blind, partially sighted or sighted. Together they represent BLINDSTART, a non-profit that empowers the blind and visually impaired uniting them with the sighted in exciting athletic events.
We are less than a month away from a huge dragon boat race in Vancouver Canada. Our athletes come out to the beach to warmup, exercise and then practice their skill, technique and endurance on the water.
Would you be able to help? We have the normal set up with equipment and snacks, plus we teach you how to be a sighted guide and how to work with a guide dog.
