we are a non-profit that gives grants to kids to do their own community service projects. We need a high school or college student in the Raleigh area to help us with some administrative work. most of the work can be done from your home as long as you have a computer with Internet access. We only need a few hours a week. You will learn how to use salesforce.com and need to be proficient with email.

Mission Statement
The Mission of Start A Snowball is the pursuit of the following principles:
- Service: It is the responsibility of everyone, and if each one of us can help the world around us the world would be a much better place.
- Possibility: It is possible for one person to make an enormous difference through a seemingly small effort to help someone. These actions can have long lasting and broad reaching ripples.
- Support: Through offering resources and community we can empower youth to make huge impacts.
- Growth: As we teach children about serving others we can create a movement that can influence a generation to become a generation of givers.
Description
Start A Snowball was founded to affect change in our world starting with children through creating a culture of service and a generation of givers. This will be accomplished through:
- Developing an online community in which stories of youth philanthropy can be shared in order to inspire others.
- Offering ideas and inspiration for philanthropic activities for youth to undertake.
- Creating a library of resources for parents and teachers to use as they teach children about giving and service.
- Providing funding ($100) as "seed money" to get kids started in their chosen projects
- Encouraging the continuation and growth of projects through the Snowball community
