Sound Affects is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing how the war on cancer is fought and financed. We strategically partner with musical artists to promote our approach to revolutionizing the war on cancer. Check us out here: www.soundaffects.org
Sound Affects Music Mezcal in an invite-only music fundraiser that celebrates our partnering artists. Our next event is June 23 at Casa Mezcal- 86 Orchard Street in NYC.
We seek volunteers age 21+ to participate by:
1) promoting the event through social media, 2) assisting with on-site fundraising, 3) sharing our mission with attending guest, 4) having a great time!
What you get:
1) To be a part of a movement dedicated to real change in the war on cancer, 2) to listen and enjoy great music from emerging artist, 3) a free drink, 4) to be on the invite list for all future Sound Affects Music Mezcal events.

We support a crowdfunding platform to connect individuals seeking dramatically improved outcomes with bio-entrepreneurs actively working towards cures. We strategically partner with celebrity and amateur musical artists to promote our approach to revolutionizing the war on cancer. Music is our metaphorical torch. Sound Affects offers a model for redefining our social contract for the war on cancer. Central to this, we believe the public can and must play a greater role in shaping a more innovative approach to fighting cancer. Our mission is to increase promising treatments in the pipeline by empowering individuals to directly support bio-entrepreneurs, translating research into groundbreaking cancer solutions.
Description
Sound Affect is an online nonprofit organization that makes it easy for anyone to support new solutions for cancer.
Bio-entrepreneurs from anywhere around the world can post their cancer-fighting biotechnology on our site, and you can give any amount to the cancer solution of your choice.
When you make a contribution to a cancer-fighting campaign, we pass your "earmarked" dollar to your chosen campaign as a charitable grant.
You receive updates and perks from the bio-entrepreneur(s) you supported as well as rewards, such as unique merchandise and special experiences, from our partnering musicians.
Most importantly, donors will actively contribute to a movement of generating real change in the war against cancer. Through your contribution, you become part of a movement to translate more promising cutting-edge cancer technologies to actual solutions in the clinic that stand to benefit individuals and society at large.
