Are you passionate for the arts? Do you have an interest in live performances of all types? If you answered with an enthusiastic "yes!" to either of these questions, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
By becoming a Volunteer Usher at Whitaker Center's Sunoco Performance Theater, you will be able to support the performing arts while making new connections with guests, staff members, and fellow volunteers in a fun and exciting environment. Volunteers direct guests to their seats, scan tickets, answer any questions visitors may have, and make a lasting impression on both visitors and performers!
Performances range from concerts, plays, dance recitals, comedy shows, and more!

REQUIREMENTS
- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- Shifts are 4-hours, with mostly evening availability. Some afternoon shifts are available. Volunteers are required to attend a training prior to starting. Volunteers are expected to work at least 10% of available shows.
- Volunteers are excepted to move quickly and calmly in an emergency. Due to the nature of the position volunteers are required to stand, sit, walk, and climb stairs.
