Everybody has a right to read!

Each volunteer is matched with a single student whom they tutor for at least one hour a week (or more at the discretion of the tutor and child's parents), for a total of up to 60 hours per student. We provide training in our structured reading program and close support throughout the process.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to teach children who are dyslexic to read by providing professional, psycho-educational assessment and multi-sensory, one-on-one tutoring.

Description

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to help the hundreds of children in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area whose dyslexia prevents them from succeeding in classrooms and careers and whose families cannot afford to pay for the kind of specialized help they need in order to overcome their disability.
