Memners of the NFB will come together on June 7th to make 1000 pretzel necklaces to support the largest chapter fundraiser of the year. Necklaces will be sold at our vendor booth at the eldorado blues and brews festival on June 19th and 20th.
The proceeds from the sale of the necklaces will support our local programs such as life skills and technology training, infrastructure,, recreation and networking opportunities. Funds raised will also go to our local outreach programs in schools and seniors centres to help reach people who are blind so that we can create more programs and help more people.
We will be making necklaces all afternoon. We'll appreciate anyone who can come in and help us out, even if it's only for an hour or two. We'll he ordering pizza at the end, so if you plan to help us all day and stay for pizza, please RSVP to Joy Soyer at 775-359-6463.
We look forward to meeting you.
