Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity

The Milwaukee ReStores are seeking an experienced, outgoing individual who would be able to take charge and lead a small crew for deconstruction projects, namely on KTOs (Kitchen Tear Outs).
We currently operate one full deconstruction crew made up entirely of volunteers. The goal of deconstruction is to coordinate with donors and go into their homes and deconstruct and remove all items approved by the donor. This takes great skill and attention to make sure the removal is efficient and damage is limited. All of these items are then given to ReStores to be resold to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.

This crew leader would be responsible for l ead the safe, physical removal of material donations from donors’ homes or commercial buildings (including schools, churches, office buildings, etc.) to support Milwaukee Habitat ReStore’s mission of reducing the costs of home-improvement and Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building decent affordable housing.

A more thorough job description can be provided upon inquiry. The level of commitment is up to one full day each week plus a few extra hours of prep time.
