Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind is seeking volunteers to work in our Donation Dog Program. This entails maintaining life-sized donation dogs placed into stores to raise funds. We are seeking volunteers in all areas of Canada.
You would empty funds from collection dogs on a monthly basis, count and roll coins, deposit at RBC, and keep collection dogs clean and presentable. Approaching businesses on behalf of our organization is optional, but encouraged.
Estimated time commitment for this ongoing position is 2 hours monthly at your convenience, but more hours are possible and encouraged, based on the availability of the volunteer.
