Are you a people person that would enjoy educating park guests about investing in Yellowstone?
Would you be interested in living in your own RV with "free-hook ups" and no space fees near Old Faithful Lodge or at Madison to enjoy Yellowstone for the 2015 Summer Season? (June -August)
If you have answered yes to the above questions, and would be willing to volunteer a minimum of 24 hours per week to YPF, then we have the position for you!
The Yellowstone Park Foundation is a nationally recognized organization with over 20,000 donors throughout the world. Since 1996, we have raised over $85 million dollars and supported over 300 projects for the Yellowstone National Park. This position provides the rare opportunity to support one of America’s greatest and most loved treasures, the world’s first national park, Yellowstone. Candidates should have a passion for Yellowstone National Park, as well as conservation in general. The Yellowstone Park Foundation is seeking dedicated volunteers to work at the Haynes Photo Shop in the park 24 hours per week during the 2015 season. You will be part of a dedicated team of volunteers educating visitors about park projects and encouraging individual donations in a fun and creative environment.
Employment Conditions: The Old Faithful Haynes Photo Shop is located in the interior of Yellowstone National Park along the Old Faithful "crescent," between Old Faithful Lodge and the Old Faithful Visitor Education Center. Elevations in Yellowstone can approach 8000’ so we advise applicants to consult their physician if they have any concerns about living and working at this elevation. Early and late season conditions in the Park may provide challenges such as mud and/or snow. Basic groceries, fuel, postal service, and laundry facilities are available within the Park. Supermarkets and other services are available in gateway communities, usually 30 to 100 miles from the work location.
Season and Schedule: Operations will run from the first part of June through September. Volunteers may be required to work any shift, any day of the week.

Description
The Yellowstone Park Foundation is the official fundraising partner of Yellowstone National Park, and is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization. In 1996, a group of concerned citizens, working with the National Park Service, started the Foundation in order to protect, preserve, and enhance Yellowstone National Park. YPF works to fund important projects and programs, many of which are beyond the financial capacity of the National Park Service. The Foundation receives no annual government funding; it relies instead upon the generous support of private citizens, foundations, and corporations to ensure that Yellowstone's great gifts to the world will never diminish. Since its inception, the Yellowstone Park Foundation has raised more than $85 million for Yellowstone National Park, and has successfully funded more than 300 Park projects.
