The Atlanta Women’s Foundation (AWF) is seeking volunteers for our first-ever Yogathon event that will be held on June 6, 2015 from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm at Centennial Olympic Park. AWF’s Yogathon is a fresh new twist on the traditional walk or run fundraiser where hundreds of Atlantans will participate in a day of yoga. More details about this new event can be found at awfyogathon.causevox.com.
We need volunteers to be available for set up at 6:00 am until clean-up is complete at 3:30 pm. If you are unable to volunteer for the entire event we are offering an abbreviated volunteer opportunity during the morning from 6 am - 10 am.
Volunteer job assignments and instructions will be provided in late May/early June and a brief training for all volunteers will happen the morning of the Yogathon. Overall volunteers will be assisting with registration, guiding guests and serve as info centers for participants.
Please come dressed in comfortable pants and tennis shoes. The event t-shirt will be supplied in the morning when you arrive.
