GIVE HOPE TO THE HOMELESS
Colorado Visiting Nurse Association owns and operates a second non-profit entitled HOPE. It is a day-shelter for homeless HIV/AIDS positive individuals in a medical treatment program.
On June 13 and 14, Colorado VNA rents out its parking lot to those visiting the Art Students League of Denver, "Summer Art Market." The money raised by this event will continue to feed, clothe, and assist these indiviuals for the next six months.
Volunteers duties:
- Park cars for the "Summer Art Market"
- Car Traffice Controllers
- Cashier
- Sitting and standing for 3-4 hours at a time
Shifts would be from 7:30AM-11:30AM and second shift of volunteers would be from 11:30AM-3:30PM on both days.
*Customer service skills are a plus!
