ART IN AUGUST at the CENTRAL LIBRARY

Volunteers are needed to help with the Sacramento Public Library's "Read to the Rhythm" Summer Reading Kickoff Event on May 31, 2015. Volunteer duties will range from manning craft tables, welcoming and directing the public and other event related jobs. One lucky volunteer will get to dress up as Clifford the Big Red Dog and bring a smile to the children's faces.

The one day opportunity is a fun filled way to help serve your library and your community!

Everyone is invited to the summer reading kickoff party! Enjoy family friendly activities like face painting, balloons, crafts and be sure to sign up for summer reading at the party. Special musical entertainment by The Hoots, Musical Robot and The Poodlums.
A Scholastic Book Fair will add to the fun.
Be part of Read to the Rhythm. Don't miss out on exciting free events for all ages in each Sacramento Public Library location.
