ORGANIZATION: Butterfly Pavilion

Butterfly Pavilion is seeking a creative, highly motivated and energetic individual to assist in implementing youth education programs as part of a team of talented and experienced staff and volunteers. This is a great opportunity for those seeking hands-on experience in environmental education, classroom science education, biology and interpretation.

  • Instruct interactive, creative, age-appropriate onsite science classes for school groups
  • Provide instructional support for out of school camps and classes
  • Collaborate with Education Department to develop, enhance and implement curricula or programs
  • Provide administrative support to Education Department
  • Be trained in exhibit interpretation to provide interpretive support in exhibits
  • Facilitating play-based learning and providing educational information to visitors of all ages.
  • Assisting in daily public programming.
  • Collaborating with Education and Exhibits Department to develop and implement new curricula or programs.
  • 1-3 days per week, 16-24 hours per week
