The Mt. Trashmore Family YMCA is looking for YOU to help us on race day July 4th 2016. Kick off your holiday by giving back to the community and volunteering at the race. We are in need of people for water stations, registration, finish line support, spirit stations, and much more! Shifts are from 6am-10am on July 4th. This can be an entire family event! All proceeds from the July 4th race go to the Mt. Trashmore Family YMCA annual campaign and are used to teach kids to swim, send kids to camp, help teens become leaders and more!

Description
At the Y, a leading nonprofit aimed at strengthening community, we work every day to help youth set and achieve their personal and educational goals. Through programs like Leaders Club, the Y makes sure that every child has an opportunity to envision a positive future, and to take an active role in strengthening his or her community. As a result, youth are given the guidance they need to gain confidence as they develop into successful adults. At the same time, adults too need resources and support in order to remain healthy and active members of society. The Y's outreach programs keep us all connected, while promoting positive change overall.
Volunteers are vital to the the Y. Without them, we wouldn't be able to meet the needs of the kids, families, and adults who live in our community. Thank you for considering the Y as a place to donate your time and talents. We know that they are precious and want every moment you spend with us to be worthwhile.
