The Volunteer Office of the Habitat for Humanity ReStores of Suburban Atlanta requires an experienced Office Volunteer. Required skills include: Data Entry(experience and strong skill level needed), phone communication , development of simple forms, other computer-related skills. At first, data entry will be the primary need, as we are going into an online volunteer data management system. During the first month or 2 of service, there will be more work to be done than there would be once we have started using the data management system.

This volunteer would need to serve at least one 4-hour shift a week, with the need for at least 2 shifts a week at first, with some flexibility as to days and times. It is important to fill this volunteer positon as quickly as possible. The office of the Volunteer Programs Manager for the Suburban Atlanta Habitat ReStores is in the Habitat ReStore - Roswell, located at 11060 Alpharetta Hwy, Roswell, GA 30076, and this is where most of the volunteer's service would take place. A small portion of what needs to be done could possibly be done at home, but most would be done at the ReStore.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStores sell donated, gently-used and new furniture, household items, appliances and building supplies to the general public, at greatly reduced prices, in order to provide funds for the local Habitat for Humanity affiliates. The ReStores rely heavily on volunteers, so the Volunteer Office is fast-paced and crucial!
