Seeking Volunteers for the role as Community Representative. Volunteers must have a passion for working with youth and their families and are willing to:

  • go through orientation
  • committ to not less than a year of service
  • provide at least 4-6 hours a month

SUMMARY OF THE JUVENILE ACCOUNTABILITY/ RESTORATIVE JUSTICE PROGRAM

Juveniles who are first-time offenders and have received tickets for low-level offenses are offered an opportunity to participate in the JARJP program instead of being processed through the Juvenile Justice System. Successful completion of this program will prevent the youth from receiving a juvenile record due to the offense for which they were referred to the program.

The goal is to provide new tools that youth can use in countless situations to make better decisions in the future. JARJP focuses on the following topics:

  • Conflict resolution without aggression

  • Peer resistance

  • Goal setting and accomplishment

  • Good decision making process

  • School performance improvement
