Camp ArtReach, an arts day camp for children 6-12, is looking for volunteers for our upcoming spring and summer arts camps.

ArtReach campers find their creative side in a hands-on, noncompetitive environment where we nurture creative thinking, self confidence and personal growth.

This will be our tenth year of bringing these camps to Denver area children.

Please visit our website for specific information regarding our workshops and general camp information: www.artreachdenver.org

Ideal candidates for camp volunteer positions are students who are 16-17 years of age and enjoy working in a educational environment. Candidates should have an appreciation for the arts and enjoy helping to provide a quality experience for the children involved.

16-17 year-old Student Volunteers will be assistants to the teaching artists, helping them to set up before each session and clean-up after. They may be asked by the teaching artist to whom they are assigned to perform a number of tasks related to the teaching of that workshop. The volunteers will be expected to follow the directions of the teaching artist. The volunteers are support for the teaching artist, but are not teachers and should not cross this boundary unless given specific instruction by the teaching artist.

Student Volunteers will work with their assigned teaching artist for at least one week-long camp, either AM or PM session.

Please note that the week of June 27, camp will NOT be taking place at Bethany Lutheran Church. Volunteers will be provided the new, nearby church location if they are volunteering in this week. All other weeks will be taking place at BLC.
