Mary is a warm and friendly person who wants to have fun. She enjoys everything from pumpkin picking, shopping at the dollar store, going to the movies to singing and going to church. She always has a smile on her face and an enthusiasm for the day ahead. Most of all Mary wants a volunteer of her own, someone whose friendship will be a treasured part of her life. Mission Statement
Consistent with the mission of the Diocese of Paterson, we provide residential, vocational, social and spiritual programs for persons with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. We offer opportunities to become more active and valued members of society, and to participate fully in life with dignity and peace.
Description
We offer ten group homes and two supervised apartment programs for adults with developmental disabilities. We also offer an adult training center for 55 adults and many of the people in our homes attend this workshop. All of our residents go to workshops each day and all have annual goals to work on both at home and at work.
