Interested in volunteering but have limited time in your schedule? Come help out at one of SCRAP Humboldt’s Drop-in Volunteer Days. The last Sunday of every month SCRAP Humboldt hosts Drop-in volunteer hours from 12 p.m- 2 p.m.. No training is required and volunteers are welcome to come for any length of time. As a nonprofit creative reuse center, volunteers are essential to the services that SCRAP Humboldt offers. Attend SCRAP’s monthly Drop-in Volunteer Day to learn more about this dynamic, growing organization and help support creative reuse in the community.

SCRAP Humboldt is a project of SCRAP, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Description
SCRAP Humboldt collects discarded materials that can be reused. Hard to recycle materials such as corks, bottle caps and cd cases are given a new life. SCRAP also holds educational classes, workshops and school programs to help teach the commuinty about sustainablity and creative reuse.
