This is an awesome way to volunteer AND party at the same time!! Second Sunday on Main is a monthly summer street festival in the heart of Over-The-Rhine, and this year is the festival's 10th anniversay! There is live music, food trucks, a beer garden, amazing local vendors, and a kids area. So, before or after you help out, you get to stick around and enjoy the celebration!
Volunteers are needed to help prepare for the event from 9:30am - 12:00pm, and again to tear down from 4:30pm - 6:00pm.
Set up 9:30am - 12:00pm (put up barriers, hang signs, help vendors find a location and set up, put out extra trash cans, etc.)
Tear down 4:30pm - 6:00pm (put barriers away and take down signs, help vendors clean up and communicate when the street is opening, etc.)
We also will need help during the course of the festival: duties might include helping with our kids area, pouring beer, guiding vendors, and overall being a helpful presence for our guests.
All volunteers will receive a free drink ticket for their help! We will also have coffee and breakfast for the team that helps out in the morning.

Description
Second Sundays on Main (SSOM) is an annual street festival organized through the Over the Rhine Chamber of Commerce. In it's 10th year, SSOM exemplifies the mission of promoting economic vitality and fostering a socially and culturally diverse OTR community. SSOM takes place the second Sunday of every month from June-October, running the length of Main Street from Liberty down to 13th Street in OTR. This is a diverse festival, aimed at welcoming everyone from the community and beyond.
