Join us for this year’s Lung Walk and 5K Race on Saturday, October 17, 2015. It will be better than ever, and your help would mean so much to so many. Click here to find out more about Second Wind St. Louis Lung Walk 2015.
The St. Louis Second Wind Lung Transplant Association needs you! By volunteering, you are providing the much-needed support to help further our mission of serving lung transplant patients and their families. Your efforts also will help to: Add Years to Their Lives and Life to Their Years.
Volunteer choses volunteer position that suits their needs. We have opportunities for everyone.
Needed: Registars, course monitors, assistane with food, directional assistance, Second Wind store, cheer squad, set up and clean up...
We have opportunities Friday October 16 from 5-9pm and/ or October 17 from 6am-2pm.

Second Wind is devoted to improving the quality of life for lung transplant recipients, lung surgery candidates, people with related pulmonary concerns and their families by providing support, love, advocacy, education, information and guidance through a spirit of service, adding years to their lives and life to their years
Description
Second Wind is a support group for patients, family members, and supporters in every stage of the lung transplant process from initial evaluation to post transplant.
We host monthly social gatherings, educational programs, holiday events and provide a variety of support services to those dealing with pulmonary issues.
The Second Wind Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to patients with emergency or noninsured expenses related to any part of their transplant experience - needs from housing assistance to help with medication costs.
