ORGANIZATION: Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance

Are you interested in honing your database skills and supporting women with ovarian cancer? Then we want to meet you!

The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance is looking for a database volunteer to come into the office once a week and as needed to help maintain our database. Applicants will assist the Alliance by removing duplicates from our donor database, combining records as appropriate and updating donor records.

This is a great opportunity to support our cause, work with a fun, friendly staff and learn about nonprofit development.

Duties include:

  • Working in Charity Engine to remove duplicate records and combine existing records.
  • Updating donor records in Charity Engine.
  • Updating records based on returned mail.
  • Communicating regularly to development staff on progress.

Qualifications include:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment while meeting project deadlines.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • High level of computer proficiency preferred.
  • Experience with Charity Engine, Donor Perfect, Raisers Edge or other donor databases highly preferred.
  • Proficient in internet research, navigation and Excel.
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately.
